Dust in the working environment!
In numerous work areas, a considerable amount of dust is released every day. The TA-Luft (Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control) is a regulation in Germany that deals with the limitation of emissions from plants and machinery. Since its introduction in 2002, TA-Luft has been the basic guideline for air pollution control in Germany. It sets limits and technical measures that plant and machine operators must implement to reduce emissions to air to a minimum.
TA-Luft is therefore an important instrument for improving air quality in Germany and protecting the health of the population.
At first glance, dust may seem harmless, but it can actually be dangerous and even carcinogenic. The dangerousness depends on the amount inhaled and the size of the dust particles. The smaller the particles, the deeper they penetrate the lungs and can cause the alveoli to stick together.
more and more plant and machine operators are taking technical measures to reduce these dust emissions. One method is to use water mist. The material to be processed is directly wetted with water to prevent the formation of dust. If direct moisture input into the material is not possible, a horizontal or vertical wall of mist can be created. In this application, the fugitive dust absorbs moisture as it passes through a fog barrier and subsequently falls to the ground due to its increased weight.
NEBOLEX Umwelttechnik has developed products for effective water atomization based on its extensive expertise in mechanical engineering and many years of experience with dust binding systems.
Our dust binding system from NEBOLEX is used in many fields, such as tunneling, underground mining, coal mining, processing, handling and storage of bulk materials, paper, metal and construction waste recycling, as well as quarries, steel and concrete plants, waste incineration plants or loading and unloading of ships with harbor cranes. The NEBOLEX atomizing system for dust precipitation has become indispensable in these areas.
