Safety for first-time schoolchildren
High visibility vests from NEBOLEX
For first-graders in particular, the daily commute to school poses a challenge – especially during the dark autumn and winter months. Many elementary school children wear dark clothing and are often difficult for drivers to spot due to their small size. Their lack of experience in road traffic also makes it difficult to recognize or correctly assess potentially dangerous situations in time.
Every year during the dark season
It is therefore all the more important to take appropriate measures to increase the safety of the youngest. This year again, the company NEBOLEX Umwelttechnik GmbH has donated reflective vests to all first-graders at the Freiherr von Drais Elementary School in Kirchberg. At the beginning of September, CEO Jan Frenzel, together with his team, presented each first-grader with a bright yellow safety vest.
The ponchos are cut to be worn comfortably over jackets or anoraks. Their striking color, combined with extra-wide, reflective stripes, ensures that children are much more visible in morning and evening traffic – even in poor light conditions or rainy weather.
With this campaign, NEBOLEX not only aims to contribute to the safety of schoolchildren but also to raise awareness of the importance of visibility in road traffic. The initiative is an important contribution to preventing accidents and making the journey to school safer. The children’s joy shows how important and welcome these measures are.
The teachers at the elementary school also support the campaign with great commitment. They encourage the children to wear them daily and praise them when they come to school visibly and responsibly. This not only strengthens the children’s motivation but also promotes an awareness of safe behavior in road traffic.
